Italian
Tradition
At the age of 16, Mario Coluccio started working at Hormas Taboada. After a few years he joined the old Compañía Argentina de Hormas. Meanwhile, in 1961, our founder began composing and manufacturing artisan wooden-lasts in a small workshop located in Morón, at Buenos Aires state. Coluccio Hormas was born in 1971, with a small team where our still current modellers began to work, accompanied by Manuel Di Gangi, and Ángel Carfagna, the first modellers who developed the factory in its beginnings. In the 90s, plastic was incorporated as the new working material.
After the 2000s, Humberto Camarda joined the team. He has created new carving techniques, many of which are still used by our current modelers, Héctor and Pablo.
Today we are a team of specialists. We are part of a company, and also of a family.
We are craftsmen dedicated to making shoe-lasts for what we love: great footwear.
